About Me
I am a London-based Australian artist and teacher working in Stained Glass, Mosaic and Mixed Media.
A love of colour and the play of light is what initially drew me to stained glass. There is something magical about altering the mood and atmosphere of a physical space by transforming the quality of light. I work on both public and private commissions.
I have always had a need to make things. My mixed media work, for exhibition and commission, uses coloured glass and found objects – broken china and jewellery, pebbles and beads, from beaches or junk shops.
Teaching at the Mary Ward Centre in Bloomsbury gives me the chance to share my skills and experience with my students, and to learn from them.
Sales and Commissions
I very much enjoy working with clients and all types of work can be commissioned - from Stained Glass door and window panels, to Mirrors and Candleholders.
It's interesting designing Stained Glass for private houses, working with the individual ideas, style and colour schemes that work for that client. Each commission is different and my website can only reflect a small range of my work.
For Mirrors and all Mixed Media work I can happily incorporate items that are important to the commissioner. These have included china, glass, jewellery, (brooches and earrings) stones, beads and shells that hold special memories.
Working for exhibitions, I also have a variety of work available for sale in my studio and a visit can be arranged.
